ICADS GLOBAL EVENTS CALENDAR
Member organizations of The International Coalition of Art Deco Societies (ICADS) host a wide variety of in-person and online programs for their audiences throughout the year. This Global Calendar catalogs all of the upcoming events so you can easily see if there are events in your area, online events that you can enjoy from anywhere in the world, or in-person programs in cities you may be visiting. The Global Events Calendar is color coded with In-Person events in black and Online events in blue. The Calendar is sortable by In-Person and Online events and searchable by Title, Venue, and Organizer. In addition you can view the events in a calendar view, month by month, or as a list.
SORT EVENTS
Sort events by scrolling to the bottom of the calendar to select which events are displayed, In-Person or Online. For example, if you would like to view only Online events, deselect In-Person events by clicking the In-Person option and In-Person events will not be displayed on the Calendar. Should you want to go back to seeing In-Person events, simply click the In-Person option and they will reappear.

SEARCH THE CALENDAR
Search for specific event topics, locations, or organizers by clicking the magnifying glass in top right corner of the Calendar. For example, if you want to see events from one society, enter the name of the society in the text box. If you want to see all events that focus on one topic, enter the topic in the text box. All search results will be grouped by Organizer, Title, and Venue.
CHANGE THE VIEW
If you prefer to see the events in a list format, click "List" in the top right corner of the Calendar. If you want to get back to Calendar view, click the "Month" option, also located in the top right corner of the calendar.

Please note that event times are indicated in the time zone of the host organization. Click here if you would like assistance converting the listed times to your time zone. All dates and events are subject to change. Check host's website for details and updates. ICADS is not responsible for the content/dates/times of the events on this calendar. Note that all events are displayed on the calendar in the language in which it will be presented.
SUBMIT EVENTS
All events hosted on the ICADS Global Events Calendar are hosted by an ICADS Member Organization.

To submit events hosted by your ICADS Member Organization click the plus icon in the top right corner of the Calendar, then enter the event information as prompted. Please find the criteria for events below and click here for step-by-step instructions on how to submit an event in the correct format.

All events must be submitted using the ICADS Events form as instructed here

Please complete the form in the language in which the event will be presented.

Generally speaking, events should be related to the Art Deco period.

Events themes can include art, design, architecture, preservation, fashion, music, film and other cultural aspects of the period.

Events can be in-person or virtual.

Please only submit events that will be open to the public.

World Art Deco Day events should be new (not pre-recorded, past events) and they should focus on the unique aspects of heritage specific to the Society's geographic location.

Please note ICADS requires approximately 1 week to review, vet and post events to the events calendar, so please submit your events as early as possible.
